Join us at Premier Events (429 East Orange Street) for a social hour at 5, dinner at 6, and our presentation by Joseph Cress, author of Murder and Mayhem in Cumberland County at 7. Cost is $14 per person and reservations are required by Monday, September 12th.
October 21st, 22nd, and 28th- Haunted History!
Visit SHS in October for the dark and scary stories of Shippensburg’s history! Stories of historic murder, mystery, and mayhem during a special tour that we will be offering at the Stewart House. Entry tickets are $3. Dates and times are as follows:
21st at 7pm
22nd at 9:30pm (after the parade)
28th at 7pm and 8:30pm
November 18th at 5pm- Colonial Harvest Dinner
Enjoy a meal surrounded by history! From the food to the ambiance and servers, this meal will have a colonial theme.
Menu: Cream of Peanut Soup, Salad Greens with Williamsburg Inn Honey Dressing, Boneless Breast of Chicken with Mushroom Sauce, Roast Pork Tenderloin with Apple Salsa, Butternut Squash Mash, Green Beans, Corn Muffins, Apple Dumpling
Each course of the meal will be accompanied by a story related to its history in the area. Space is limited so reservations are mandatory by November 17th. Admission is $20 per person and the event will take place at the History Center, 52 West King Street, Shippensburg, PA. December 2nd, 5pm to 7pm- Naughty and Nice Family Christmas Readings
Join us as we get into the spirit of the season with a family-friendly collection of Christmas readings! Admission to the event is free and light snacks will be provided. Here is the schedule for our readings:
